Find your handful of happiness at the Downtown Farmers’ Market, where urban and rural communities together. The Market supports more than 300 entrepreneurial vendors from 58 Iowa counties. Nourishing the community, The Market offers diverse products including locally-grown produce, seasonal flowers, farm fresh eggs and cheese, locally-produced wine and fresh baked goods. Shop Iowa-raised meat including beef, pork, chicken, turkey, goat, rabbit, lamb and tilapia. Spanning nine city blocks, The Market experience also includes ready-to-eat foods, local artists, live music and entertainment, special programming and learning opportunities.

All metered parking is free on weekends, recommended street parking on the bridges or around the perimeter of The Market.
The Bike Valet sponsored by Terrus Real Estate Group allows cyclists to ride their bikes to The Market and park safely while shopping and exploring Downtown Des Moines. This free service is operated by a Bike Collective staff person. Cyclists park their bikes on special racks in the bike corral, which is in a secure, safe area in the parking ramp. In addition to free parking, the Bike Valet also offers an air pump and mini tire changing workshops. The Bike Valet is located on the southeast corner of 2nd and Court.
